Matthew W. Eline
Matthew W. "Matt" Eline is the principal of Robinson Secondary School.
Eline attended the University of Massachusetts, taking a BS in microbiology. He would later take an MA in education from George Mason University.[1]
Following his graduation, Eline was a middle school science teacher in Massachusetts, then joined the Peace Corps, working in Papua, New Guinea as a teacher and administrator.[1]
Following the Peace Corps, Eline taught science at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Arlington and biology at Hylton High School in Woodbridge.
He implemented the fist virtual high school for Prince William County Public Schools and also served as its principal.
From 2003 to 2006, he was assistant principal at Brentsville District High School in Nokesville. He came to Fairfax County Public Schools in 2006, and was a sub-school principal at Fairfax High School until 2010, when he became principal at Rocky Run Middle School, replacing Dan Parris.
After three years at Rocky Run, Eline was appointed principal for Robinson in June 2013.[2]
