Michael P. McWeeny

The Honorable Michael P. McWeeny (February, 1947 - ) is a former judge on the Fairfax General District Court and Fairfax Circuit Court.[1]

Judge McWeeny is a graduate of Washington & Lee University, and took his Juris Doctor at the University of Notre Dame.[2] He was admitted to the bar in 1972.[3]

He was appointed to the bench of the General District Court in 1985, and served there until his appointment to the Circuit Court in 1988.[2] He served as Chief Judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court from July, 2001 to June, 2007, and retired from the bench in December, 2009.[1]

In January 2010 Judge McWeeny joined The McCammon Group, a Richmond-based dispute resolution firm.[1]
