Events that took place in Fairfax County in November, 2017:
- November 1 – 70-year-old Paul E. Wedding, Jr. attacks his 76-year-old wife Gaysorn with a small axe, then commits suicide with a chainsaw in the garage of his house at 7586 Springfield Hills Drive in Springfield.[1]
- November 4 – 38-year-old Vidal Flores Cuchillas stabs and mortally injures 27-year-old Harold Garnett in an early morning bar fight outside Velocity 5 in Centreville. Despite early expectations that he will survive, Garnett instead dies in the hospital later that evening.[2]
- November 14 – 22-year-old Wilmer A. Sanchez Serrano is convicted of second-degree murder for his role in the killing of 15-year-old Damaris A. Reyes Rivas in Springfield on January 8.[3]
