South County High School is a public high school in Lorton.
The school was originally built in 2005 as South County Secondary School, and operated as a combined middle and high school.
In 2013, U.S. News and World Report rated SCHS as the 20th best school in Virginia and the 452nd best in the United States.[1]
In December 2014, Langley High School Principal Matt Ragone became principal of the school.[2]
