- June 9 – Henh Chu Ngo is sentenced to 26 years in prison by Judge Jane Marum Roush for the December, 2002 murder of Ngoc Quy Doan Nguyen in Annandale.[1]
- June 11 – 46-year-old cab driver Parvez Ahmed is robbed and murdered in Falls Church by Ahmed I. Osman.[2][3]
- June 12 – Anthony L. Burdis pleads guilty to first-degree murder for shooting John M. Shirley in his girlfriend's Fairfax condominium on November 3, 2005.[4]
- June 16 – Judge Randy I. Bellows sentences Jamel D. Rush to 28 years in prison for fatally stabbing 30-year-old Christian A. Green in Lorton on the night of August 4, 2005.[5][6]
- June 29 – A groundbreaking ceremony is held at the site of the new Burke Centre Library.[7]
