- November 6 – Captain Susan H. Culin takes over command of the Fairfax County Police Department's Sully District Station from Captain Bill Gulsby.[1]
- November 14 – A fire in his first-floor condominium at 1432 Northgate Square in Reston kills 53-year-old Jeffrey Kerrigan.[2][3]
- November 25 – Darius T. Hicks fatally shoots 21-year-old Shawndre N. Fulton, who was eight months pregnant with his daughter, in the Mount Vernon Woods Park in Alexandria.[4]
