- November 11, 1948 – 3-year-old Linda E. Titcombe is killed when she falls out of a truck driven by her grandfather Aubrey Dailey near his store in Forestville.
- November 11, 1955 – 39-year-old Mary M. Alexander is shot to death by 48-year-old William E. Burner behind the Culmore Shopping Center in Falls Church. Burner then commits suicide.
- November 11, 1999 – 56-year-old Christian B. Hughes is mortally injured by his brother-in-law, 61-year-old Issa E. Mansour, who splashes gasoline on Hughes and sets it alight at Hughes' Franconia home at 4325 Upland Drive. Hughes is airlifted to the Washington Hospital Center, where he dies two days later.
