- July 21, 1995 – 39-year-old clerk Paramjit Singh is stabbed to death by Sterling W. Fisher, Jr. in the Texaco station at 252 Maple Avenue West in Vienna.
- July 21, 2011 – Refusing police commands to drop the shotgun he is carrying, 34-year-old Ricardo Leon is shot to death by Fairfax County Police officers in front of his townhouse at 6165 Kendra Way in Centreville.
