- November 27, 2007 – 42-year-old former Fairfax County Sheriff's Deputy David L. Ruel commits suicide near his home in Herndon the day after his house and storage unit are searched by the Fairfax County Police investigating allegations that Ruel had sexually abused a 12-year-old boy beginning in 2001.
- November 27, 2012 – Dinh Quy, a 62-year-old Alexandria woman, unintentionally kills herself when she crashes her 2009 Toyota Corolla into a tree at the intersection of Rolling and Old Keene Mill Roads in Springfield.
