- November 15, 1985 – Fairfax Circuit Court judge Thomas A. Fortkort sentences independent recreational pharmaceutical salesman Michael R. White to serve six years of his 12-year prison sentence for fatally shooting Emery C. Buckman outside of Buckman's illegal boarding house in Falls Church following an unsuccessful business negotiation on July 17, 1985.
- November 15, 2000 – 27-year-old Fairfax County Police Officer Chad E. Mahoney is shot in the chest by another FCPD officer while engaging in a controlled drug buy in the parking lot of the University Mall in Fairfax.
- November 15, 2008 – 43-year-old Morton Fuchs is shot to death by James Becker in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Alexandria to settle an argument.
- November 15, 2013 – 28-year-old Julio Blanco Garcia is sentenced to 49 years in prison by Judge Jane Marum Roush for the murder of Vanessa Pham on June 27, 2010.
