- November 2, 1963 – 56-year-old Alphues E. Redmond is killed in Falls Church by Walter A. Meyer when Meyer attempts a U-turn on Leesburg Pike and crashes head on into Redmond's car.
- November 2, 1993 – Fairfax County voters overwhelmingly approve a referendum allowing for the direct election of members of the Fairfax County School Board.
- November 2, 1995 – 33-year-old Robert N. Willis is shot to death in Reston by Michael S. Thomas.
- November 2, 2001 – 32-year-old Donnell R. Taylor is sentenced to nine years in prison for his role in the July 21, 1995 robbery at a Vienna Texaco that resulted in the fatal stabbing of Paramjit Singh by Sterling W. Fisher.
- November 2, 2008 – 49-year-old cab driver Mazhar Nazir is shot to death by thrill killer Evan Gargiulo in Tysons Corner.
